Objective of the Right to Information Act

The basic object of the Right to Information Actis to empower the citizens, promote transparency and accountability in theworking of the Government, contain corruption, and make our democracy work forthe people in real sense. It goes without saying that an informed citizen isbetter equipped to keep necessary vigil on the instruments of governance andmake the government more accountable to the governed. The Act is a big steptowards making the citizens informed about the activities of the Government.

Section 4(1)(b) of RTI Act 2005 covers thestatutory declaration of LAXMAN PRASAD BAIDH GOVT. GIRLS COLLEGE, BEMETARA oninstitution website. It covers all the rules and regulation which areimplemented by Govt. of Chhattisgarh.
